1 lb chicken meat - chopped into pieces
1 small pc ginger - julienned
1 tsp dark soy sauce
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp water
2 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp cooking oil
- Heat up 1 tbsp cooking oil and 1 tbsp sesame oil in a wok over medium heat. Stir fry the ginger until fragrant.
- Add chicken to the wok and stir fry over high heat for 1 minute. Drizzle dark soy sauce and soy sauce over the chicken and stir fry to mix well. Add water and cover.
- Switch to medium heat and let it cook for 10- 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- When the chicken is cooked, drizzle another 1 tbsp sesame oil before transferring to a serving plate. Serve warm with rice.
