Potato with Chilli Bean Sauce

3 medium-sized potatoes - peeled and cut into small cubes
150g minced meat
5 tbsp green peas
2 cloves garlic - minced
1 shallot - sliced
1 1/2 tbsp fermented chili bean sauce
4 tbsp water
1 tbsp cooking oil

  1. Heat up oil in a pot and fry the potato cubes till golden brown.  Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat up a pan on medium heat.  Stir fry the minced meat for 1 - 2 minutes until fragrant.  Add cooking oil to pan and stir fry shallot, garlic and chilli sauce for another minute.
  3. Add potato and green peas and water.  Cover for 1 - 2 minutes.
  4. Remove cover and stir to mix well.  Serve warm with rice.
