Ingredients
5 chicken drumsticks
1 inch fresh ginger - peeled and grated
2 stalk scallion/green onion - finely chopped
1 tbsp shallot oil
salt to taste
Garnish
fried shallot
chopped scallions
Method
- Heat up water in a wok. Steam the chicken drumstick for 14 minutes. Remove from heat. Hand shred the chicken meat into large pieces. Place shredded chicken on a serving plate.
- Add salt, grated ginger, chopped scallions and shallot oil to the chicken meat. Toss to mix well.
- Sprinkle with some fried shallot and chopped scallions. Serve warm with rice and a simple and delicious meal is ready!
