Pan Fried Halibut Fillet in Soy Sauce




Ingredients
1 halibut fillet
1 stalk green onion - trimmed end and cut into one inch length
some julienned ginger
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp rice wine
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tsp sesame oil
salt and pepper to taste

Method
  1. Marinate fish with salt and pepper for 15 minutes or more. 
  2. Heat up oil in pan.  Pan fry fish for a few minutes on each side.  Set aside on a serving plate.
  3. Add another tablespoon oil to the pan.  Saute chopped garlic and ginger till aromatic.
  4. Add green onion, soy sauce and rice wine and do a quick stir fry.
  5. Add a little sesame oil and toss to mix well.
  6. Transfer mixture to the fish plate and serve warm.
