Ingredients
1 halibut fillet
1 stalk green onion - trimmed end and cut into one inch length
some julienned ginger
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp rice wine
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tsp sesame oil
salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Marinate fish with salt and pepper for 15 minutes or more.
- Heat up oil in pan. Pan fry fish for a few minutes on each side. Set aside on a serving plate.
- Add another tablespoon oil to the pan. Saute chopped garlic and ginger till aromatic.
- Add green onion, soy sauce and rice wine and do a quick stir fry.
- Add a little sesame oil and toss to mix well.
- Transfer mixture to the fish plate and serve warm.
