1 sweet potato - peeled and cut into bite-sized pieces
1 cup rice grain
6 cups water
- Bring a pot of water to boil. Add rice grain and cut sweet potatoes and bring to a boil again. Stir a little to prevent grains from sticking to the bottom.
- Turn off heat and cover and let it stand for 30 minutes, stirring occassionally for the first 5 minutes to prevent spilling.
- Reheat porridge and serve hot with some grilled vegetables.
