Japanese Sweet Potato with Quinoa Dessert




Ingredients
1 japanese sweet potato - peeled and cut into cubes
red dates
3 tbsp quinoa
few pandan leaves
3 cups water
sugar to taste

 Method
  1. Bring water to a boil.  Add pandan leaves, sweet potatoes and red dates and bring water to a boil again. Simmer over low heat for 10 minutes. 
  2. Add sugar to taste.
  3. Add quinoa and cook for another 5 minutes.
  4. Turn off heat and cover the pot.  Let the ingredients steep in the residual heat for 20 minutes.
  5. Dessert is ready!
