Coconut Jelly Dessert




Ingredients
1 packet of agar agar powder
6 cups water
1 can coconut milk + water to make 3 cups in total
sugar to taste

Method

  1. Boil 6 cups water in a large pot.
  2. Pour the whole packet of agar agar powder and 2 tbsp sugar into the pot and cook over medium high heat, stirring constantly until mixture comes to a full boil.
  3. Add coconut milk and measure water so that the total amount of liquid adds up to 3 cups in total.  Continue to boil and stir constantly.
  4. Once the mixture comes to a boil again, pour contents into heat proof containers.
  5. Let it cool to room temperature and chill in the refrigerator. 
  6. Cut into slices and serve cold.
