Almond Tofu and Peach Dessert

Washington's fame may be apples and cherries, but these tree ripen peaches definitely deserve a place next to them!  Large and super sweet yellow peaches and white peaches and not forgetting the nectarines too! Pair them with almond tofu or eat it on its own....the taste is pure bliss!

Ingredients
1 packet of agar agar powder
2 yellow peaches - peeled and cut into cubes
6 cups water
1 can evaporated milk + water to make 3 cups in total
sugar to taste
Method
  1. Boil 6 cups water in a large pot.
  2. Pour the whole packet of agar agar powder and 2 tbsp sugar into the pot and cook over medium high heat, stirring constantly until mixture comes to a full boil.
  3. Add the whole can of evaporated milk and measure water so that the total amount of liquid adds up to 3 cups in total.  Continue to boil and stir constantly.
  4. Add 2 teaspoons of almond flavour extract.
  5. Once the mixture comes to a boil again, pour contents into glass bowls.
  6. Let it cool to room temperature and chill in the refrigerator.
  7. Cut into cubes and serve with peaches.
