Teriyaki Tofu Steak

recipe adapted fm Ibuki magazine
1 packet medium soft tofu
1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil
1/2 pkt brown beech mushrooms
fresh parsley and toasted sesame seeds

  1. in a skillet, add sesame oil and fry the tofu on both sides till golden brown.  Set aside.
  2. Add mushrooms and stir fry till lightly aromatic.
  3. Add teriyaki sauce and do a quick stir fry.
  4. Stir in some cornstarch solution and mix well.
  5. Pour over tofu.  Garnish with parsley and sesame seed and serve warm.
