Steamed Chicken Drumsticks with Chinese Herbs

5 chicken drumsticks
4 pieces of dang gui
12 red dates
handful of yuzhu
handful of wolfberries
salt to taste

  1. Place all the herbal ingredients into a small pot.  Add enough water to cover them. 
  2. Bring to a boil.  Turn off heat and let it sit till cooled to room temperature.
  3. Place the drumsticks in a plate.  Pour the boiled herbs onto the drumsticks and sprinkle some salt.
  4. Steam over high heat for 5 minutes, then switch to medium low heat and steam for another 15 to 20 minutes or until meat is cooked
