1 cod fish steak
some fresh black fungus
1 shallot - sliced
- Heat up oil in frying pan. Fry the shallot till aromatic. Set aside. Fry the ginger till browned. Set aside.
- Fry cod fish for about five minutes on both sides.
- Place fish on a serving plate.
- Add black fungus and stir fry for 1 to 2 minutes. Add soy sauce and do a quick stir fry.
- Transfer the black fungus to the serving plate.
- Garnish the fish with the fried shallot and shredded ginger.
- Serve warm with rice or porridge.
