Wild Vegetable Dish




Some home grown vegetables given by my Taiwanese neighbour, Yu Qin. These edible vegetables which she calls it 野菜 can be found by the roadside and grow in abundance.  She picked these vegetable, roots intact and started to grow them. Edible food around us...interesting!  Might grow them one day...

Ingredients
1 bunch of wild vegetable/home grown vegetables
1 bunch of bean sprouts - washed and tail ends removed
1 tsp chopped garlic
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp light soy sauce
salt and pepper to taste
a little sesame oil
oil for frying 

 Method
  1. Heat up oil in wok, add dried prawns and fry for a while.
  2. Add chopped garlic and fry till aromatic.
  3. Pour vegetables into the wok, add light soy sauce and oyster sauce and do a quick stir fry over high heat.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.  Add a little sesame oil. Fry to mix well.
  5. Ladle into a serving plate and serve this homey dish!
