Simply awesome to have a hubby who can cook!
Ingredients
3 lb baby back ribs
Marinade
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp garlic powder
5 cloves garlic
2 tsp grated ginger
3 pieces star anise
1 piece cinnamon stick
2 pieces dried orange peel
1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1 tbsp salt
2 tbsp dark brown sugar
Method
- Remove membrane of pork ribs. Cut into individual pieces.
- Add all other ingredients into pork ribs and marinate overnight.
- Place marinated pork ribs into a slow cooker and cook on low heat for 8 hours or until meat is very tender.
- Cook the remaining sauce of the pork ribs till slightly thicken.
- Place cooked pork ribs in a single layer on a baking tray.
- Brush them with the thickened sauce and broil for 10 to 15 minutes or until slightly charred.
- Serve the finger licking good ribs immediately!
