Slow Cooker Chinese Sticky Pork Ribs






Simply awesome to have a hubby who can cook!

Ingredients
3 lb baby back ribs 

Marinade
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp garlic powder
5 cloves garlic
2 tsp grated ginger
3 pieces star anise
1 piece cinnamon stick
2 pieces dried orange peel
1 tsp freshly ground black pepper 
1 tbsp salt 
2 tbsp dark brown sugar 

Method
  1. Remove membrane of pork ribs.  Cut into individual pieces.
  2. Add all other ingredients into pork ribs and marinate overnight.
  3. Place marinated pork ribs into a slow cooker and cook on low heat for 8 hours or until meat is very tender.
  4. Cook the remaining sauce of the pork ribs till slightly thicken.
  5. Place cooked pork ribs in a single layer on a baking tray.
  6. Brush them with the thickened sauce and broil for 10 to 15 minutes or until slightly charred.
  7. Serve the finger licking good ribs immediately!
