Ingredients
8 oysters from a jar - rinsed
1 egg
1 cup rice grain - washed
3 cups water
some shredded ginger
some chopped green onion
salt and pepper to taste
shallot oil
Method
- Boil water in a pot. When water comes to a boil, pour in rice grain and shredded ginger and bring to a boil again.
- Simmer over low heat, stirring occasionally until cooked.
- Season with salt and pepper, stir to combine well.
- Break egg into pot and stir.
- Add in oysters and cook for another few minutes.
- Ladle into a serving bowl and drizzle some shallot oil.
- Sprinkle chopped green onion and serve warm.
