1 pc of halibut steak
1 small green bell pepper - sliced
1 stalk of green onion - cut into 2cm length
1 red chilli - cut into 2vm length
1/4 pc of white onion - sliced
2 slices of ginger
1 tsp of minced garlic
3 tbsp of soy sauce
1 tsp of sesame oil
salt and pepper to taste
Marinate the fish with salt, pepper and sesame oil for 1 hour.
Heat up a frying pan with some oil and saute the ginger slices until brown. Remove and discard.
Pan fry the fish for 5 mins or more under medium heat on each side until nicely browned and cooked. Remove from pan and transfer to a serving plate.
With the remaining oil in the pan, saute the onion, garlic, bell pepper and red chilli for a few minutes until fragrant. Add in the green onion and soy sauce and mix well.
Pour the sauce over the fish and serve warm
