1 medium sized kabocha (pumpkin) - use 1/4 of it
toasted sesame seeds
1 tbsp honey
handful to toasted white sesame seeds
pot of water (enough to cover the pumpkin slices)
- Peel and slice the pumpkin thinly.
- Bring water to boil. Place the pumpkin slices into the boiling water and cook for a few minutes or until they are just cooked.
- Remove from pot and place on serving plate.
- Drizzle honey and sprinkle toasted sesame seeds on the dish.
- Serve warm or cold.
