leftover slices of bread
1/2 cup orange juice
1 tbsp butter (melted)
1 tbsp sugar
sprinkle of cinnamon
olive oil for cooking
- In a bowl, mix the eggs, orange juice, butter, sugar and cinnamon.
- Heat up a cast iron pan. Add olive oil.
- Dip both sides of the bread slices into the egg mixture.
- Place on pan and fry for about 2 minutes on each side or till golden brown on both sides.
- Drain on paper towel and drizzle honey or maple syrup before serving.
