Char Siew Mee

1 medium piece char siew (recipe refer to here)
fresh egg noodles - 3 coils for 2 pax
marinade from char siew
Seasonings for noodles (for 1 pax)
1 tsp hot chilli oil
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp fried shallot oil

For garnishing
cut green chillies
cut green onion
fried shallot

  1. Reheat char siew in marinade for 5 minutes or more.  Set aside.  Slice the char chew into thin pieces.
  2. Boil a pot of water.  Blanch the noodles for a few minutes.  Drain and wash with tap water.  Return noodles to hot boiling water and blanch for a while.  Drain and place the noodles on a serving plate.
  3. Drizzle seasonings on cooked noodles and toss to mix well.
  4. Place sliced char siew onto the noodles.  Drizzle the marinade from char siew on the noodles and garnish with chilli, fried shallot and green onion.
  5. Serve immediately.
