Steamed Chicken with Fresh Jujube

1 chicken thigh - deboned and cut into small pieces
3 jujube (red dates) - cut into pcs
1 shitake mushroom - soaked, drained and cut into pieces
2 slices ginger
1 clove chopped garlic
1 pc dang gui

Seasonings for chicken
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp huatiao wine
2 tbsp yellow wine
salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp cornstarch

  1. Marinate chicken with seasonings for 1 hour or more.
  2. Place all ingredients in a plate and steam for 15 to 20 minutes or till cooked.
  3. Sprinkle some chopped green onions and serve warm with rice.
