Pan Fried Tofu with Beech Mushroom

1 box of firm tofu - cut into pieces
1 packet of beech mushrooms - washed and divided
1/4 bowl minced pork
1 tsp chopped garlic
handful of chopped basil 
some water
cornstarch solution

1 tbsp shaoxing wine
1 tbsp dark soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
salt and pepper to taste

  1. Heat up oil in pan.  Pan fry tofu till brown.  Set aside.
  2. Add 1 tbsp oil to the pan.  Fry garlic till aromatic. Add beech mushroom and fry for another minute. Add pork mixture to the pan.
  3. Drizzle seasonings, add chopped basil leaves and stir fry over high heat for a few minutes. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  4. Ladle mushroom mixture over the tofu.
  5. Serve warm.
