Pan Fried Tofu with Shitake Mushroom

1 block fresh tofu (3/4 portion used) - cut into rectangular pieces and pat dry
8 fresh shitake mushroom - cut into small pieces
2 tbsp minced meat
1 tsp minced ginger
1 tsp chopped garlic
salt and pepper to taste
dash of sesame oil
1- 2  tbsp cooking oil

1 1/2  tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp huatiao wine

  1. Heat up a frying pan on medium heat.  Dry fry the shitake mushrooms until fragrant.  Set aside.
  2. Add oil to pan and fry the tofu until brown on both sides.  Remove from pan and arrange them on a serving plate.
  3. With the remaining oil, fry the minced meat for 1 - 2 minutes.  Add ginger and garlic and continue to fry till fragrant.  Add the shitake mushrooms.  Drizzle sauce and fry to mix well.
  4. Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste.  Add a dash of sesame oil and arrange them in the centre of the serving plate.
