1 block fresh tofu (3/4 portion used) - cut into rectangular pieces and pat dry
8 fresh shitake mushroom - cut into small pieces
2 tbsp minced meat
1 tsp minced ginger
1 tsp chopped garlic
salt and pepper to taste
dash of sesame oil
1- 2 tbsp cooking oil
1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp huatiao wine
- Heat up a frying pan on medium heat. Dry fry the shitake mushrooms until fragrant. Set aside.
- Add oil to pan and fry the tofu until brown on both sides. Remove from pan and arrange them on a serving plate.
- With the remaining oil, fry the minced meat for 1 - 2 minutes. Add ginger and garlic and continue to fry till fragrant. Add the shitake mushrooms. Drizzle sauce and fry to mix well.
- Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste. Add a dash of sesame oil and arrange them in the centre of the serving plate.
