Snow Fungus and Chinese Yam Pork Rib Soup



Ingredients
1 medium-sized snow fungus
1 lb pork ribs - blanched in boiling water
10 dried longan
1 chinese yam - peeled and cut into large pieces
1 tsp bitter chinese almond
1 tsp sweet chinese almond
dried yuzhu 
2 slices ginger

Method
  1. Soak the snow fungus in water until it expands and turns soft.  Trim away the hard part and cut into smaller pieces.  
  2. Put all ingredients in a slow cooker and cook for 6 hours under low heat.
  3. Add salt to taste and enjoy the flavourful soup.
