plump and juicy oysters all ready!
10 fresh oysters
1 tsp fermented black bean - soaked for 10 minutes, rinsed and lightly chopped
1 tbsp rice wine
1 tbsp minced garlic
sprinkle of chopped parsley
- Scrub the oysters to remove any mud and grit. Rinse with cold, running water. Throw away any oysters with broken shells or those which have opened.
- Shuck the oysters. Add the chopped black bean and garlic.. Steam for 5 to 8 minutes on high heat, depending on the size of the oysters. Remove from steamer when oysters are just cooked, looking soft and fleshy.
- Dig into these delectable morsels of briny goodness immediately!
