Super delicious fall off the bone ribs! One slab, Two Laps...enjoy the flavourful ribs with rice or in a baguette, either way they are just as good ;P
Credit to my home chef for the wonderful meals!

Ingredients
1 slab 3 1/2 lb pork rib
half onion - peeled and sliced into rings
5 dried red chili
3 star anise
2 small cinnamon sticks
1/2  cup rock sugar
1/2 cup huatiao wine
1 cup dark soy sauce
1 tsp five-spice powder
enough water to cover pork ribs for braising
2 tbsp cooking oil

 Method
  1. Heat up weber grill on high.  Place slab of pork rib on the grill.   Grill pork ribs for 5 minutes on each side. Remove from grill.
  2. Place 2 bulbs of garlic on the grill.  Grill for a few minutes.  Remove from grill.
  3. Add cooking oil to a wok.  Fry onion over medium heat till aromatic.
  4. Add dried chili, star anise, cinnamon stick and rock sugar to the wok and fry for a while.
  5. Add pork rib and garlic to wok.  Drizzle huatiao wine and dark soy sauce.
  6. Add enough water to cover pork ribs.  Cover and braise over low heat for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally to prevent the ribs from getting burnt.
