Grilled Striped Bass

Summer is here and Hub had started to fire up his weber grill!
1 striped bass - cleaned
1 knob ginger - shredded
1 lemongrass - shredded
1 stalk green onion - shredded
4 dried red chilli
2 tbsp soy sauce
cooking oil
salt and pepper to taste

  1. Marinate fish with some salt and pepper.
  2. Heat up weber grill on high.
  3. In the meantime, heat up some oil.
  4. Fry shredded ginger till brown and crispy.  Set aside.
  5. Fry shredded lemongrass till brown.  Set aside. 
  6. Fry dried red chilli.  Set aside.
  7. Grill fish for 5 minutes on both sides. 
  8. Place grilled fish on a serving plate.
  9. Drizzle 2 tbsp soy sauce over the fish.
  10. Garnish with ginger and lemongrass.
  11. Remove 2 tbsp of the hot cooking oil.
  12. Drizzle hot oil over the fish. 
  13. Garnish with shredded green onion and serve warm.
