250g pork ribs - blanched in boiling water and drained
1 daikon- peeled and cut into cubes
10 red dates
3 shitake mushrooms - soaked and drained
2 slices of ginger
1 small dried cuttlefish
salt to taste
1 pot of water
Method
- Bring the pot of water to boil. Add ginger slices, dried cuttlefish, mushrooms, red dates and pork ribs and simmer over medium heat for 45 minutes.
- Add daikon cubes and continue to simmer for another 20 minutes. Add salt to taste.
- Ladle into a serving bowl and serve hot with rice.
