3/4 lb lean pork - sliced thinly
1 bunch green onions - ends trimmed, separate white and green parts
1 pc ginger - julienned
1 fresh red chilli - sliced thinly
Marinade for meat
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp shaoxing wine
1 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp water
salt and pepper to taste
Sauce
1 tsp dark soy sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce
Method
- Heat oil in pan over medium heat.
- Saute ginger and white part of green onion till fragrant.
- Add sliced pork, chilli and green part of green onion.
- Do a quick stir fry. Add sauce and stir fry over high heat.
- Add some water, cover and let it braise for 3 - 5 minutes or till pork is cooked.
