2 chicken thigh - deboned and cut into bite-sized pieces
1 chinese sausage - sliced
2 shitake mushrooms - soaked, drained and cut into bite-sized pieces (retain water)
1 clove garlic - sliced
2-3 tbsp mushroom water
1 small piece ginger - sliced
Seasonings for chicken
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tbsp yellow wine
salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp cornstarch
Garnishings
chopped green onion
1 fresh red chill - sliced
Method
- Marinate chicken meat with seasonings for 1 hour or more.
- Add mushrooms, chinese sausage and garlic and mix well.
- Prepare a steamer with boiling water and steam over medium heat for about 15 minutes or until chicken meat is cooked.
- Sprinkle some chopped green onions and chillies and serve warm.
