Ingredients
1/4 winter melon - remove seeds and cut into cubes
1 tbsp chopped garlic
chopped green onion
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp dark soy sauce
1 tsp oyster sauce
small piece rock sugar
vegetable oil
Method
- Heat up oil on low heat. Add rock sugar to melt.
- Pan fry winter melon cubes till lightly brown. Drain and set aside.
- Add some more oil. Fry half of the chopped garlic. Drizzle soy sauce, dark soy sauce and oyster sauce.
- Add fried winter melon pieces. Do a quick stir fry.
- Add some water to braise till desired tenderness.
- Ladle into bowl and garnish with the rest of the chopped garlic and green onion.
- Serve warm with rice.
