Ingredients
300g chicken drumsticks or thigh (cut into bite-sized pcs)1 bowl squash (cut into bite-sized pcs)
1 chinese sausage - sliced thinly
2 dried shitake mushrooms -soaked drained and quartered
1 tbsp yellow wine
cornstarch solution
Seasonings
1 tbsp yellow wine
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce
salt and pepper to taste
pinch of cornstarch
Method
- Marinate chicken meat with seasonings for 1 hour or more.
- Place marinated meat in a plate. Add squash, sausage and mushrooms.
- Steam over medium heat for 15 minutes or till meat is just cooked.
- Add another tbsp of yellow wine and stir in cornstarch solution.
- Steam for another 1 - 2 minutes to slightly thicken the sauce.
- Garnish with some chopped green onions and serve warm.
