I usually have some leftover gravy after cooking my lor bak. This is my cheater's way of cooking lor mee. Quick and easy. Other ingredients which can be added are fried fish fritters and fried wonton. Ingredients
(for 2 pax) thick yellow noodles (i use fettuccine) 2 eggs (boiled and peeled) 1 egg (lightly beaten) few pcs fried fish cake (sliced) few pcs fried ngoh hiong few pcs braised pork belly (lor bak) gravy (recipe refer to here ) soy sauce to taste thick sweet soy sauce to taste enough water for gravy dash of sesame oil dash of black vinegar green onion or parsley (chopped) red chillies (cut) grated garlic + a little sesame oil
8 chicken drumsticks (washed and patted dry, make a few slits on the thickest part) 1/4 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup soy sauce 1/4 cup sake 1 tsp grated ginger
1 small pc of snow fungus (rehydrate in water to soften) 6 pcs winter melon strips 10 pcs dried longan 10 pcs gingko nuts (cooked) 1 tsp wolfberries 2 strips pandan leaves (knotted) 2 bowls of water
